Can you cook fish in the microwave? As hard as it is to believe, the answer is Yes! This easy recipe for Simple Microwave Salmon shows you how.

There’s a neglected appliance hanging out in your kitchen. that you’ll want to dust off for this recipe. I’ve opted to do the unheard-of. I’m using the microwave for more than just popcorn and reheating leftovers.
(On a related note, please don’t reheat your leftovers or take-out in plastic. Listen to The Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals Episode of my podcast, This Unmillennial Life, to understand why.)
I discovered a truly amazing quick-and-easy way to cook microwave salmon via the seafood department at my local Publix. The package of fresh salmon I bought there a few years ago included microwave instructions.
Unquestionably, I was skeptical the first time I tried it. But I promise — microwave salmon is a game-changer. As a result, you’ll be amazed the first time you try it.

It turns out moist, not overcooked, and just the right amount of flakiness… and in just 3 minutes!!
Seriously… I may never cook fish in the oven again. Microwave salmon is just too easy not to love.
