Healthy Flaxseed Dressing

This healthy dressing uses nutritional superfood flaxseeds. Healthy Flaxseed Dressing is quick and easy. It combines fresh lemon and basil with ground golden flax to create a thick and hearty dressing without added fat and calories. For extra flavor, try adding a minced garlic clove.

Frequently Asked Questions about Healthy Flaxseed Dressing

Does Healthy Flaxseed Dressing use any olive oil?

No. It doesn’t. And you’ll be amazed at how thick and creamy it is without using any oil. Olive oil is certainly considered one of the healthy fats. But if you’re trying to cut back on additional calories from fat in your salads, this is great way to do that.

If I don’t have lemons for fresh lemon juice, what else can I use?

The flavor will differ, but you could use balsamic vinegar in place of lemon juice.

Can I prepare this in a food processor or blender?

Yes, absolutely. That’s one of the easiest ways to get an even smoother dressing.
