Easy Greek Baked Salmon With Feta
This Greek Baked Salmon with Feta is a quick, healthy salmon recipe packed with fresh flavor—perfect for busy weeknights or meal prep.

When you’re craving something flavorful yet light, this Greek Baked Salmon with Feta is the perfect easy weeknight meal. With bright Mediterranean flavors of extra virgin olive oil, feta cheese, and tomatoes, it’s the kind of healthy meal you’ll want on repeat in your kitchen.
A Quick and Flavorful Mediterranean Salmon
This Greek salmon recipe is one of my favorite ways to bring Mediterranean flavors to my dinner table. I start with fresh salmon fillets and season them simply with salt, black pepper, and oregano. On top of the salmon, I layer diced tomatoes, black olives, and creamy feta. It’s all baked together for perfectly tender salmon in just 10–15 minutes.
You can easily adapt this salmon dish to what you have on hand. Add thinly sliced red onion, a squeeze of lemon juice, or even a drizzle of red wine vinegar to enhance that Greek-inspired flavor. If you love herbs, sprinkle in some fresh dill or other fresh herbs for a beautiful, aromatic finish.
How to Make It Perfect Every Time
To ensure your salmon cooks perfectly, pat them dry first with a paper towel. A drizzle of a little olive oil over the top can also add richness and keep the fish moist.
Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness — you’re aiming for an internal temperature of about 125°F for moist, flaky salmon. While delicious as-is, this dish would also be wonderful with a spoonful of feta sauce (try blending feta, Greek yogurt, and lemon zest in a small bowl) for an extra creamy touch.
Serving Suggestions
I love serving this baked feta salmon with a side of roasted green beans or alongside a simple Greek salad. It’s an ideal main dish for the whole family, and the leftover salmon stores beautifully in an airtight container for meal prep later in the week.
If you made this recipe last night and have extras, try flaking the leftover salmon over greens for lighter meals or tucking it into pita with hummus for an easy lunch.

💡 Dietitian Insight:
Salmon is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids — key for heart and brain health. Pairing it with feta cheese adds calcium and protein, while the extra virgin olive oil brings heart-healthy monounsaturated fats for a nutrient-packed main dish that’s as good for you as it is delicious.
