3 Ingredient Chocolate Gluten Free Truffles Recipe
Making Gluten Free Truffles is so easy and requires just a few simple ingredients. They’re the homemade gift or perfect holiday treat everyone can enjoy!

I must give credit where credit is due on this little bit of absolute deliciousness. These cute little truffle balls originated with my mother, who makes a batch of regular chocolate truffles for my boys every time we visit.
So when I was told I needed to create a Gluten Free Truffle, I knew exactly who to ask. Mom was kind enough to share her recipe with me, and I easily translated it into these gluten-free goodies with their decadent chocolate interior.

There are other truffle recipes online for gluten-free truffles and healthy chocolate truffles whose main ingredients are coconut oil, nut butter, unsweetened chocolate, etc. I’m sure they’re tasty. But around here, the name of the game is EASY. And it doesn’t get any easier than this!
Can you freeze these truffles?
Absolutely! I recommend freezing them BEFORE you dip them in chocolate.
Can you use leftover cake instead of cookies to make these truffles?
Rather than tinkering with this recipe, I recommend using this Cake Pop Truffles recipe as your guide.

3 Ingredient Chocolate Gluten Free Truffles Recipe
- Total Time: 30 minutes
- Yield: about 2 dozen
- Diet: Gluten Free
Description
Making Gluten Free Truffles is so easy and requires just a few simple ingredients. They’re the homemade gift or perfect holiday treat everyone can enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 (12.08-oz.) pkg. gluten-free chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreos)
- 1 (8-oz.) pkg cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- Melting milk chocolate or chocolate bark, for chocolate coating dipping*
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper. Set aside.
- Place Oreos in a food processor, and fully process into crumbs. Transfer crushed chocolate cookie crumbs to a large bowl, add cream cheese, and beat with an electric mixer on low speed until fully combined.
- Using a small cookie scoop or 2 tablespoons, portion out mixture into small balls. Roll each ball quickly between palms of your hands to smooth into round balls. Place on prepared baking sheet, and place in refrigerator or freezer to harden, about 1 hour.
- Microwave melting chocolate using package directions in a microwave-safe bowl. Using a fork, carefully lower each ball into melted chocolate, and roll truffles in chocolate, fully coating on all sides. Tap fork on side of the bowl to remove excess chocolate, and gently transfer coated ball to a parchment-lined baking sheet. Let stand until coating is set. Reheat any remaining chocolate in 15-second increments in the microwave to melt, as needed, and spoon into a ziptop bag. Drizzle over truffles. Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
*If you have white chocolate on-hand, melting and drizzling over the top of the dark chocolate truffles. It makes for an even more impressive presentation.
