This 3 Ingredient Slow Cooker Apple Spice Cake couldn’t be any easier OR more delicious!


  • 2 (14.5-oz.) cans fried apples
  • 1 (15.25-oz.) box yellow cake mix or white cake mix
  • 1 (6.5-oz.) tub cinnamon sugar butter spread, melted
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional)


  1. Coat a slow cooker insert with cooking spray.
  2. Over a large mixing bowl, drain fried apples and reserve juice in bowl. Set apples aside. Add dry cake mix and melted cinnamon butter spread to reserved juice in bowl. Whisk together until smooth.
  3. Layer apples in bottom of the slow cooker; top with cake batter. Cover with slow cooker lid.
  4. Cook in HIGH until top is set, 4 to 5 hours. Serve warm topped with a scoop of ice cream, if desired.
